Glider Rides

Telluride Soaring - "Getting air" is the obvious goal for some skiers and snowboarders, but how about gliding through the air hundreds of feet above the slopes in a glider plane, with only the wind thermals to keep you afloat? Telluride Soaring offers thrills galore with exhilarating sailplane rides throughout the winter and summer from the Telluride Airport. Rates are about $110 per half hour, $160 per hour; rides are offered daily, weather permitting.
